Inner Awakenings provides a body of knowledge that is essential for creating relationships that promote an environment of personal and spiritual growth.   This is accomplished by offering:

In our counseling sessions we use a powerful form of therapy called Breath Integration. The spiritual principles that we draw on are based on A Course in Miracles.

In addition, we also teach an intensive, personal development program called the Six-Month Program and a Practitioner Training for people who desire to become Breath Integration Practitioners.

The Owners/Teachers

Rev. Jerome Stefaniak is a teacher who instructs adults in how to have higher self-esteem, how to discover and live their vision, and how to achieve both outer success and inner tranquility at the same time. As a speaker, he is warm, powerful and humorou has learned to have for himself with his clients as he instructs them in how to have more success in their personal and business relationships.

After graduating from the University of Illinois with a BS in Accounting, Jerry took his graduate work at De Paul University, earning an MBA in Systems Analysis in 1978. During that time and for the following seven years, he successfully pursued a career in business, advancing from Computer Operator to Programmer to Programming Manager to Computer Systems Development. He was also a member of Big Brothers during this period, establishing a relationship with a Little Brother for three-and-a-half years.

In 1985 Jerry began a program of personal development which in 1986 led him into a new career: sharing with others the principles and techniques he had successfully learned to apply in his own life. Since then, he has taught many workshops on personal development both in Texas and Washington. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Unity Church of Clear Lake, functioning as its Youth Education Director.

An accomplished speaker, Jerry has delivered speeches and meditations to various clubs, churches and organizations in Texas, New Mexico, Minnesota and Northern Ireland. He is a spiritual teacher at Unity Church of Christianity in Houston, where he leads classes in A Course in Miracles. He is also a Master Teacher of the Breath Integration method, teaching intensive Six Month Personal Development Programs and a professional trainings for Breath Integration Practitioners.

Stav Stefaniak (LMSW-ACP, LCDC) is a State Licensed Psychotherapist and Breath Integration Practitioner in private practice and has over 25 years experience in the mental health field. In addition to her individual, marriage and group counseling experience, she has extensive expertise in the health care field where she has developed and presented workshops, participated in the development of community programs, spoke at national conventions, wrote papers and co-authored published articles and leads women’s retreats. In her practice, Stav combines sound psychological principles along with spiritual and metaphysical principles to help people transform their lives. Stav is also an Angel Therapy Practitioner.

Stav has developed and presented workshops, talked at national conventions, has written papers and co-authored published articles. She and her husband, Jerry, teach intensive spiritual development programs, teach public workshops on personal growth topics, and write books and articles for magazines and periodicals.

Jerry and Stav have been practicing spiritual principles in their personal lives and relationships for the past 17 years. They are Master Teachers of the Breath Integration method, having taught intensive Personal and Spiritual Development Programs and train practitioners in Breath Integration. They draw on their own experiences as friends, lovers, and marriage/business partners to teach and inspire others.
