Stav, (Stavroula) Stefaniak, LCSW, LMFT, is a State licensed
psychotherapist with over 30 years
experience in the mental health field.
She is a multifaceted, multitalented and versatile therapist who is able
to combine tools and techniques from many avenues
and tailors her approach
according to her clients needs.
Stav combines her knowledge of sound psychological principles along with
Universal Spiritual and metaphysical principles and is able to tune in quickly
and get to the root issues to give insightful and clear guidance to her clients.
She is also a Breath Integration Practitioner and uses this technique, when
appropriate, to help her clients tap into their unconscious on a deep level so
that they can unravel and release suppressed stressful emotions. These suppressed emotions can keep
clients stuck in unconscious self-sabotaging patterns that can be interfering
with current functioning and well being.
Stav has developed and presented workshops on Anger Management, Forgiveness,
Self Esteem and has led groups and Women's Retreats.
She is a contributing coauthor in the metaphysical book
"New Thought" by Mary Mannin Morrissey.
She coauthored with her husband Jerry their relationships book
"Intimacy in Action-Relationships that feed the Soul"
by Jerry Stefaniak and Stav Stefaniak, MSW. Together they have taught numerous
workshops and groups on Relationships in various parts of the State of TX and
have facilitated Couple's Retreats.
Among her professional experiences and trainings she is also an Angel Therapy
Practitioner, and received her training through Dr. Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.
Stav has had a personal experience and
relationship with her angels who have shown themselves to her and assisted her
during critical times in her life.
Those who are interested and want to develop their relationship with their
celestial guides, Stav is more than happy to assist them in opening up to that
aspect of existence. She does so through Angel readings, (separate from her
counseling work.) Stav had been on the
staff of Dr. Doreen Virtue for many years assisting in the trainings that Dr.
Virtue was offering. She is
featured in Dr Virtue's book, "Angel Medicine" when she accompanied Dr Virtue
to Greece, Stav's country of origin.
